-The Kingdom of God is the cosmic version of that thing you didn’t realize you already had, hidden in your glove box or something the whole time.
-The Kingdom of God is the cosmic version of that thing you’d been wishing you had, and you didn’t realize until later that there was one right there, stuck down in the middle console of your car or something.
-The Kingdom of God is the cosmic version of that thing you didn’t realize you had lost until you found it again, a gift you forgot you’d been given, buried in your trunk or somewhere you never go through until it has to be completely cleared out.
-The Kingdom of God is like your car keys which have been lost somewhere in the front yard, and then it snows and the whole yard is covered, although you know the keys are buried under it somewhere. You can find them, you will find them, so long as you believe they are really there, and you keep going, looking in expectation and with faith in the object of your search. If you look long enough, you will come across them. If you’re not sure if they’re really out there or not, if you think you might have left them at work somewhere, or maybe even in the garage, then the snow in your front yard might as well be Mount Everest, that is how little of a chance you have of finding them.
